I keep infrastructure running in places where downtime has consequences - a county government, a state judiciary spanning ten courthouses, a city, and a financial institution. Servers, networks, endpoints, phones, and the courtroom AV that has to work at 9:00 a.m. whether or not it worked yesterday. The work I am best at is the work nobody volunteers for: the intermittent failure that will not reproduce, the vendor who stopped returning calls, the manual process quietly eating an hour a week until someone packages it away. My passion lies in delivering quality results efficiently and accurately.
